ANDMORE’s Inspiring Design Sessions: Unveiling Trends in Atlanta this September!

ATLANTThe highly anticipated ANDMORE design-driven educational sessions are all set to ignite creativity in Atlanta this September. Hosting a total of 9 sessions at two prominent Atlanta campuses, AmericasMart Atlanta and the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC), the event promises to be a treasure trove of design, color, and category trends. Coinciding with AmericasMart’s Fall Market and the International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA’s) Outdoor Design Days from September 18 to 20, and DISCOVER ADAC from September 19 to 21, ANDMORE aims to offer an unparalleled opportunity for the design community to prepare for the upcoming holiday and mid-market seasons.

Karen Olson, ANDMORE’s Chief Marketing Officer, expressed excitement about the upcoming event, stating, “This September, ANDMORE offers buyers three concurrent sourcing and shopping opportunities, with the new Outdoor Design Days augmenting the popular Fall Market at AmericasMart and DISCOVER ADAC. AmericasMart Educational Programs

AmericasMart is set to host three educational programs during the event. The lineup includes:

  1. Design to Dollars: How the outdoor category can help you grow your business, presented by Cindy Hodnett of Designers Today and Furniture Today on Monday, September 18.
  2. Sherwin-Williams ColorMix, presented by Rachel Moeller, on Tuesday, September 19.
  3. A third session with the subject and presenter to be announced will be held on Wednesday, September 20.

The educational sessions will take place at 11:30 a.m. during lunch on the 14th floor seminar space in Building 1.

ADAC Keynote Presentations

ADAC will host two daily inspirational Keynote presentations alongside interior design panels, color education, and product introductions throughout the three-day DISCOVER ADAC consumer and trade event. The captivating lineup for Tuesday, September 19, includes:

  1. The Power of the Past in Present Design, presented by Margot Shaw, editor-in-chief of Flower Magazine, along with interior designers Barry Dixon, Jared Hughes, and Matt Gomez.
  2. Defining Chic: The World of Carrier and Company, presented by Jessie Carrier and Mara Miller of Carrier and Company and Betsy Riley, editor-in-chief of Atlanta Magazine.

On Wednesday, September 20, attendees can look forward to:

  1. The Power of Authenticity, presented by architect Stan Dixon and VERANDA executive editor, Ellen McGauley.
  2. Design Influence Beyond the Eurocentric Lens, presented by Luxe Interiors + Design Southeast Homes editor Kate Abney alongside Southeast-based design professionals Beth Webb, Cheryl Luckett, Kelley Lentini, and Berkeley Minkhorst.

The sessions on Thursday, September 21, include:

  1. Forces of Nature, presented by Michael Del Piero of Good Design and Rozanne Jackson of The Iron Gate, and moderated by MILIEU design director Leslie Newsom Rascoe.
  2. The Art of Color: Powerful Palettes & Visionary Design, presented by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles editor-in-chief, Lauren Iverson, along with interior designers Melanie Millner of The Design Atelier, Monet Masters of Forbes Masters, and New York-based designer David Frazier.

These engaging sessions will be presented daily at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

In addition to the enriching design education, both AmericasMart Atlanta and ADAC will offer a range of buyer amenities each day during the markets.
