This Sunday, July 27, PeachFest returns to downtown Atlanta for its 11th annual celebration, transforming Peachtree Center into a culinary destination that merges Georgia’s agricultural heritage with high-end gastronomy and social impact.
The one-day event, which runs from 3:00 to 7:30 p.m., is expected to draw thousands of food enthusiasts and industry professionals for an all-inclusive tasting experience that spotlights the state’s iconic fruit: the peach. Over 65 chefs, mixologists, brewers, and artisans will present inventive peach-centric creations—ranging from open-fire bites and craft cocktails to wine pairings and reimagined desserts.
Culinary Talent Meets Creative Execution
PeachFest has built a reputation for attracting top-tier talent in the food and beverage industry. This year’s roster includes acclaimed names such as Stevenson Rosslow (Wrecking Bar Brewpub), Chalmers Stewart (Kevin Rathbun Steak), Arnaldo Castillo (Tio Lucho’s), and Eric Gephart (Kamado Joe), alongside Texas-based chef and food equity advocate Adrian Lipscombe. These industry leaders will be joined by an array of emerging chefs, bartenders, and local artisans, all contributing their own interpretations of the peach.
A notable innovation at this year’s event is the debut of Georgia’s first Peach Omakase, a standing-room-only tasting inspired by traditional Japanese omakase but reimagined through the lens of Southern produce. Limited to VIP guests and select general admission attendees, the omakase offers a curated sequence of peach-based courses, emphasizing seasonal flavor, culinary technique, and ingredient versatility.
Beyond Food: Music, Experiences, and a $20K Giveaway
In addition to the food and beverage lineup, the festival includes live performances by local funk band Funk Cake and interactive demonstrations at the Kamado Joe live fire grilling station, where celebrity chefs will showcase wood-fired techniques.
Attendees will also have the chance to enter a sweepstakes featuring a $20,000 prize package, including:
- VIP access to future culinary events
- Luxury hotel stays
- Private dining experiences
- A collection of premium Spanish wines
- A Kamado Joe ceramic grill
A silent auction will be held throughout the day, with proceeds supporting CURE Childhood Cancer and Piggy Bank, a nonprofit that provides educational and emergency resources for small family farms.
Sustainability as a Core Principle
More than a food festival, PeachFest positions itself as a model for sustainable events. Organizers are committed to eliminating single-use plastics, utilizing compostable and recyclable materials, and working with vendors who prioritize ethical sourcing. Participating chefs and bartenders are also challenged to reduce food waste by using “imperfect” produce and upcycled ingredients.
Peach Week Drives Citywide Engagement
In the days leading up to the festival, Peach Week (July 21–26) features limited-time peach-themed offerings across some of Atlanta’s top restaurants, including Sweet Auburn Barbecue, Brasserie Margot, Tio Lucho’s, and CudaCo. Seafood House. A portion of the proceeds from these dishes and cocktails will be donated to PeachFest’s nonprofit beneficiaries.
Ticketing and Logistics
General admission is priced at $95, while VIP tickets—which include early access at 3:00 p.m., exclusive tasting experiences, and entry to the Peach Omakase—are available for $130. The festival will take place rain or shine at Peachtree Center, located at 225 Peachtree Street NE in downtown Atlanta.
