Peach Festival Returns For Second Annual Celebration on July 29

The second annual PeachFest (www.peachfest.org) celebration will open its doors Sunday, July 29 from 4 – 7 p.m. for general admission (3 p.m. for VIP guests). FlatironCity (Fairlie-Poplar) will once again host 65 food artisans, pastry chefs and barkeeps all collaborating around a food or beverage offering based on peaches to bring culinary innovation for nearly 1,000 attendees.

With a booming peach season and an extraordinary list of participating chefs, the festival is determined to raise awareness for Piggy Bank, a start-up farm in Missouri devoted to supporting new family farms and providing aid to those facing disaster (fire, flood and disease).

The festival boasts an impressive roster of top local chefs, including recent Food Network cast Lasheeda Perry of Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta as well as representatives from Wrecking Bar Brewpub and Gum Creek Farms just to name a few. The complete list of remarkable local artisans can be found on the official PeachFest website at www.peachfest.org.

Found under the tree canopy at Broad Street NW and Poplar Street NW, FlatironCity is the perfect PeachFest location. Coming to a point with The Flatiron Building – Atlanta’s oldest standing skyscraper – FlatironCity is a local historic landmark that radiates decades of Atlantan lifestyle and culture.

The cost of attendance is $60 for General Admission and $100 for VIPs. With each ticket, attendees enjoy ethically and responsibly sourced peach inspired dishes with a variety of beverage from local craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries, all created by some of Georgia’s most forward thinking food and drink leaders.
