Music Midtown, the eagerly anticipated annual music festival that graces the sprawling expanse of Piedmont Park, has at last unveiled the grand lineup for its 2023 edition. Spanning the weekend of September 15 to 17, this year’s festival promises a captivating blend of pop, rock, and rap that will surely resonate with a diverse audience.

The announcement of this year’s musical assembly marks a triumphant return after last year’s unfortunate hiatus. Local establishments, like Zocalo Mexican Kitchen and Cantina, adjacent to Piedmont Park, are welcoming the festival’s return with open arms, given the substantial impact of its absence on their operations.

The unveiled roster reads like a who’s who of contemporary music royalty, featuring luminaries such as P!nk, who will share the opening night spotlight with the Australian DJ sensation Flume. The following evening will see the stage graced by the enigmatic Grammy-winning Billie Eilish, accompanied by indie rock stalwarts The 1975. The grand finale promises to be a resonating crescendo, courtesy of rock legends Guns N’ Roses and hometown hip-hop luminary Lil Baby.

With a history dating back to 1994, this Atlanta institution is gearing up for its 29th consecutive year of music, merriment, and unbridled energy.

Anticipation for the festival’s return was palpable, evident from conversations with attendees at Piedmont Park. Julie Mckie expressed, “It’s a great opportunity for people to come and listen to music,” while Ammar Askar, a local, shared his incredulity, stating, “It was like completely out of the blue, I was like, oh, like Midtown Music. I thought that stuff was like, not happening anymore.”

As presale tickets open on Thursday at 10 a.m., attendees are presented with a range of options. A three-day general admission pass starts at $350, while single-day entry is set to begin at approximately $200. For those seeking an elevated festival experience, choices abound, encompassing general admission plus, VIP, and Super VIP tiers.

Eager enthusiasts can ensure they’re at the forefront of ticket availability by registering for the presale through the festival’s dedicated website.
