Atlanta, GA (October 8, 2021) – Southern Culinary & Creative is excited to announce the line-up for the inaugural Gather ’round culinary arts experience being held at presenting sponsor Epicurean Atlanta’s Sky Terrace, state-of-the-art Culinary Theatre, and signature restaurant Reverance. In addition to Signature Events, Masterclasses hosted by The Local Palate, and Collaborator Dinners, this revelry of food, drink, music, and art will take place over four days in October, 2021, from 14th to 17th. A lineup of 70+ chefs, beverage experts, and artists will celebrate the diversity and culture of the South, resulting in an experience that pays homage to the community’s creative interests. Presented by Southern Culinary & Creative, the weekend will generate proceeds that will support the Giving Kitchen and the Hambidge Creative Arts Center, nourishing the region in one of the best ways. 

The following features will be included in the programming by day:

THURSDAY:  Epicurean Theatre Masterclass:  Scottish Influences on a Southern Menu; Signature Event: Awaken Your Senses, held on the Sky Terrace, presented by Epicurean Atlanta & Atlanta Magazine, and Collaborative Dinner Series events: Espectro de Sabor at Bar Mercado, and Flour + Water at The White Bull.

FRIDAY:  Lunch & Learn: Chicken, Spice & Everything Nice at Epicurean Atlanta; Epicurean Theatre Masterclass: Natty Wine for Newbies (and Enthusiasts); Signature Event: Tomorrow’s Table, held on the Sky Terrace, presented by PNC; Collaborative Dinner Series events: Past, Present & Future 2.0 at Reverance, and Fish & Fowl – a Celebration of Sustainable Seafood & Humanely-raised, All-Natural Chicken at Nick’s Westside, presented by Springer Mountain Farms.

SATURDAY:  Lunch & Learn: Roots – Re-examining Authentic Influences in American Cuisine held on the Sky Terrace; Epicurean Theatre Masterclass:  Sustainable Seafood – Cooking the Available Catch; Epicurean Theatre Masterclass:  Snapshot Buford Highway – Send Noodles (and Dumplings); Signature Event: Sip – Classic Southern Cocktails & Soundtracks held on the Sky Terrace, and Collaborative Dinner Series: Vinyl Nights at Lyla Lila.

SUNDAY: Signature Event: Punch Brunch at Reverance, presented by Atlanta Magazine follow by Rooftop Revelry on the Sky Terrace; Epicurean Theatre Masterclass:  Age *Isn’t* Just a Number; Collaborative Dinner Series events: South x Southeast Asia at Fox Bros. Upper Westside  and Eyes Wide Shut, Mouths Wide Open at Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours.
