First ever Peachfest August 13th

On Aug 13th PeachFest, to be held outdoors in downtown Atlanta and produced by the innovative team behind Cochon555 and their charity, Piggy Bank. 100% of the profits will go to charity on the day.

PeachFest 2017 will feature innovative gastronomic takes on a host of local farm products, but
there is also another important theme for the day: local communities. By staging a culinary
revival in the streets of downtown, the goal is also to highlight the dynamic tastes and energies
of Atlanta’s core urban district alongside agricultural spotlights. Among the Atlanta businesses
that are to be highlighted are Pearson Farm, The Turnup Truck, The Wrecking Bar, and
Hamthropology – Registered Ossabaw Island Pork, and many more to be announced on the
website www.peachfest.org.
Top Georgian farmers, chefs, distillers, and brewers will collaborate to give the state’s finest agricultural products flavor and form rarely seen before.

Notable participants include, Terry
Koval of Wrecking Bar, Bryan Furman of B’S Cracklin BBQ, and Richard Bradford of Pre-Made
Paleo amongst many more. Below, please find sampling of what to expect from the day’s,
peach-loving lineup:

  • Wood-Fired Peach Flats​ – peach and charcuterie flatbreads by notable butchers
  • “PFT” Peach, Foie, and Truffles​ – luxury and savory re-inventions with this iconic stone fruit
    Peach & Pastry​ – peach and lard-infused sweets from Atlanta’s top pastry chefs
  • Peach Punch​ – spirits and cocktails infused with the day’s signature fruit
  • Peach Beer Contest & Tasting​ – sample peach beers alongside culinary experiences
  • Peach & Paleo​ – protein-driven, purity-themed food by Richard Bradford and friends
  • Speak, Peach BBQ​ – a side by side tasting of heritage breed pigs and peach infused BBQ
  • Silent Auction for Charity​ – a collection of rare wines, dinners, and culinary gift packages
