If you’re looking for a delightful and unique experience in Atlanta, Atlantic Station’s 30363 neighborhood has something truly special to offer. Step into the enchanting world of Tiny Doors ATL Studio, where three walkable and accessible Tiny Doors await your discovery. This 138-acre neighborhood stands out as the only area in Atlanta with three Tiny Doors conveniently located within walking distance of each other, making it a must-visit destination.
Tiny Doors ATL began its creative journey in 2014 when Karen Anderson Singer, the mastermind behind the project, sparked a creative revolution by bringing big wonder to tiny spaces. Inspired by street art conversations in Atlanta, Singer crafted custom installations that celebrate and reflect the essence of the surrounding communities, earning her recognition as a TEDx speaker and inclusion in Georgia Trend Magazine’s “40 under 40” list.
The heartwarming collaboration between Atlantic Station and Tiny Doors ATL began in April 2020, with Atlantic Station offering the project a new home as the Artist-in-Residence, complete with a studio on Atlantic Drive.
Each Tiny Door mirrors the diversity and vibrancy of Atlantic Station, fostering the project’s mission to use art as a means to connect the community. Start your journey with Tiny Door 21, overlooking the picturesque Atlanta skyline on the Atlantic Green. Move on to Tiny Door 22, nestled on the ivy wall across from Publix, celebrating Atlantic Station’s history and thoughtful design. Finally, experience the newest addition, Tiny Door 25, found on Eclipse Pond Bridge, where art, nature, and community converge beautifully.
Doors 21 and 22 come to life with augmented reality (AR) features, offering an interactive and immersive experience for visitors. And there’s even more excitement to come, as Door 25’s AR capabilities are currently in development.
Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the magic of Tiny Doors ATL Studio on Atlantic Drive, where Karen Anderson Singer’s 7-inch Tiny Door creations come to life. Visit the studio on the third Saturday of each month between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. for an open studio event, where you can witness works in progress, shop for exclusive Tiny Doors merch, and view the retired door gallery.
