Dragoncon starts this weekend approaching, and more than 80,000 hungry cosplayers will tour Atlanta looking for food. Luckily there’s a short list restaurants and bars near the convention to featuring a few deals such a food and drink specials for Dragoncon.
Dantannas
Find deals every day of the week at all three of Dantanna’s locations. Weekdays from 4 to 6 p.m. guests can enjoy half-priced appetizers like the Crab & Artichoke Dip or Wings. On Fridays from 4 to 6 p.m.. patrons can dive into $.25 Shrimp and $1 Oysters to satisfy any seafood cravings. Finally, brunch lovers can head to Dantanna’s Sandy Springs from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays or Dantanna’s Buckhead from 12 to 4 p.m. on Sundays.

Park Tavern
Just for Dragon Con goers, Park Tavern will be offering a special Dragon Roll – cooked, shrimp tempura, red pepper, cream cheese and green onions topped with grilled eel and King crab available for $12.99, but is also available at half price price at 10:00 pm. Additionally, guests can enjoy a limited edition specialty Dragon Berry Lemonade cocktail.
Every night from 10 p.m. to midnight guests can enjoy half priced sushi, and diners can also take advantage of half priced wine bottles all day at Park Tavern every Wednesday. Finally, when it rains, they pour, guests can also enjoy house-brewed drafts for $1 when it rains in Piedmont Park.

Thursdays guests can “Holla for Five Dollars” with a $5 featured cocktail and beer. Available all week from Monday through Friday, hungry diners can chow down on Hampton + Hudson’s Happiest Hour Menu from 4 to 7 p.m. featuring Executive Chef Savannah Sasser’s 4 p.m. Sandwich, which is only available for a limited time each day for $11, and 4 p.m. SMF Wings for $4. To cap off the weekend, brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
