Thunder Thief will be making a comeback to the taproom on June 28th. This popular Double IPA made its first debut last year, and it was an instant favorite. After earning a silver medal in the U.S. Beer Open, the beer is back with a new hop combination.
Thunder Thief earned medals in both the Juicy and Hazy categories. After these stellar wins, ABC is releasing Thunder Thief Two. This new take on the original IPA will include Kohuta, Rakau, Citra, Vic, and Secret hops to give it a tropical finish that includes hints of pineapple, mango, and pine.
Gavin McKenna, Director of Brewing Operations, expressed his excitement to share this revamped brew with the brewery’s patrons. He is delighted with the response so far and believes that that Thunder Thief Two will be a hit with the fans.
The Thundering’s limited release will come in a four pack of 16-ounce cans; the beer will also flow from the company’s taproom on June 28th only, and then it will be served by other local breweries in the week to follow.
