Twisted Tea for the winter and gameday

Get a little twisted this winter …

Winter can have a different meaning for everyone. Whether it means spending time with your family, watching sports or brunching around with your friends, there’s always an opportunity to bring an unexpected and refreshing twist to any occasion!

During this cold weather season, we see daylight fade early and impromptu snow that moves plans indoors, but it’s important to not let this affect your creativity of how you get a little twisted with your crew. Lucky for you and me, Twisted Tea is the perfect addition to any social occasion whether it’s outdoors or indoors.

I’m a fan of this drink as it has a twisted side (booze kick), a relaxing side (tea flavor) and a refreshing taste (as it’s brewed with real tea leaves) that screams all shades of cool. Twisted Tea Original is like ying-yang in a can and the perfect accompaniment for stress-free drinking. Tasting just like real iced tea, Twisted Tea has no carbonation and is just 5% ABV. If you’re not a beer or wine fan, but want an easy drinking, refreshing hard beverage nonetheless, you should make this your go-to drink and #UnwindWithATwist!

For some reminiscing of the summer days during these darker months, they also have Twisted Tea Half & Half which combines the refreshing taste of iced tea with the classic taste of lemonade. This one really makes me think of summer.

And as if they couldn’t twist things up anymore, you can share photos of how you’re enjoying Twisted Tea and a part of the communi-tea (get it?!) to have the chance to get featured on the back of the Twisted Tea cans. Pretty awesome!

While you’re enjoying the great indoors, bring a little twist to your watch party for football playoffs and the Big Game by ditching the beer and chip and trying this twisted take on cheese dipping sauce. Recipe below:

Twisted Tea Cheese Dip
Ingredients:

⦁ Twisted Tea Original – 1 cup
⦁ Cornstarch – 1 tablespoon
⦁ Shredded Cheddar Cheese – ½ lb.
⦁ Hot Sauce (optional) – to taste

Directions: Pour Twisted Tea into a saucepan on the edge of the grill. Dissolve cornstarch in a small bowl with some Twisted Tea. When tea comes to a boil, pour in cornstarch and swirl pan to mix. Slowly add shredded cheese, mixing the whole time until combined. Keep over medium heat, adding some hot sauce if you want a little kick.
