Marcus Samuelsson Atlanta’s Marcus Bar and Grill Set to Shine at the New York City Food and Wine Festival

Marcus Samuelsson, a prominent figure in the culinary world, boasts a career defined by innovation and achievement. As the mastermind behind renowned establishments such as Red Rooster Harlem, Red Rooster Overtown, and Marcus Bar & Grille in Atlanta, he consistently pushes culinary boundaries. Notable career milestones include becoming the youngest recipient of a coveted three-star review from The New York Times and earning an impressive eight James Beard Foundation Awards.

This year’s New York City Food and Wine Festival will feature Marcus Samuelsson as a notable participant. On October 13th, he will co-host a dinner alongside renowned chef Jonathan Waxman as part of the Air France Dinner Series. This event promises a memorable evening of culinary excellence.

Continuing the festival’s culinary exploration, on October 14th, Samuelsson will lead a workshop titled “Cuisine & Culture.” The workshop will feature discussions with culinary experts, including Tiffy Cooks, Lahbco, The Chutney Life, and Thee Moody Foody, focusing on the intersection of food and culture.

The festival will conclude on October 15th with a brunch hosted by Marcus Samuelsson, Nasim Alikhani, and Fariyal Abdullahi. This event, titled “Culinary Loveletter: From Iran to Ethiopia to Scandinavia and Beyond,” will showcase diverse culinary traditions that have played a significant role in Samuelsson’s culinary journey.
