Gastro Garage Takes Over TWO urban licks for a Fiery Culinary Adventure

This fall, TWO urban licks, one of Atlanta’s most popular dining spots, is offering a unique culinary experience as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. The restaurant, known for its wood-fired cuisine and vibrant atmosphere, is teaming up with Gastro Garage, an experimental dining pop-up from Los Angeles, for six nights of interactive, flame-filled dining.

Gastro Garage has gained a reputation for its theatrical approach to food, using blowtorches and deconstructed dishes to create a dining experience that blurs the line between meal and performance. Known for its appearances from L.A. to Abu Dhabi, the pop-up brings its signature approach to Atlanta, where diners at TWO urban licks will get to experience an eight-course meal that emphasizes bold flavors and visual spectacle.

The menu, described as a deconstructed, flame-kissed experience, will include dishes like the torched Wagyu Gastro Burger Tank and mozzarella foam-topped Piston Pizza Tank, as well as inventive desserts such as the sweet-and-spicy Pistol Peach Tank. The event is designed to push the boundaries of traditional dining, with each course prepared by the so-called Gastro Mechanics—chefs who cook with blowtorches in front of the diners, adding an element of live entertainment to the meal.

The pop-up will take place over three weekends—October 4th-5th, November 1st-2nd, and December 4th-5th—with two seatings available each night, at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $85 per person, which includes one shot, a cocktail, and an eight-course dinner.

As TWO urban licks marks 20 years on the Atlanta dining scene, this collaboration with Gastro Garage is the first in a series of events planned for the fall. The restaurant, located on Ralph McGill Boulevard along the BeltLine, is known for its innovation and bold flavors, and this latest event is likely to attract those looking for something out of the ordinary. Reservations are recommended for the pop-up and can be made by calling 404-522-4622 or booking through OpenTable.
