Atlanta to Host Its First Halal Food Festival This Summer

Atlanta is set to welcome its first-ever halal food festival this summer—a vibrant celebration of culture, cuisine, and community. The inaugural Atlanta Summer Halal Food Festival will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Atlantic Station, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., promising a full day of flavor and fun for all ages.

Organized by the Atlanta Muslim Festival Collective (AMFC), the one-day event will feature over 50 halal food vendors from across the Southeast. Visitors can look forward to a diverse menu of global flavors—from sizzling kebabs and gourmet burgers to handcrafted desserts and refreshing beverages—all prepared according to halal dietary standards. Organizers aim to make the event both inclusive and educational, with signage and video content explaining the concept of halal and its broader relevance for all food enthusiasts.

But this festival is about more than just food. Guests can enjoy:

Live entertainment from local performers

• A family-friendly kids’ zone with games and a petting zoo

• A scenic photo booth

• An artisan market featuring handmade goods from local small businesses

To keep guests comfortable, the venue will also provide free water stations and shaded seating areas.

Tickets are on sale now, offering full access to the festival experience. Admission includes:

• A custom RFID wristband linked to a free online photo gallery

• A souvenir paper fan for each guest

Children aged 7 and under get in free, and discounted student tickets are available with valid ID. Limited-time promotions—such as 2-for-1 deals and family ticket packs—are being offered to encourage early purchases.

The Atlanta Summer Halal Food Festival represents a meaningful milestone in the city’s ongoing recognition of cultural diversity through food. It offers a welcoming space for both Muslims and non-Muslims to come together in a shared celebration of tradition, flavor, and community.
