Notable matchups in the schedule include a primetime showdown against the reigning champion Las Vegas Aces on May 31st and a game against the winner of the 2023 Commissioners Cup and last year’s championship runner-up, the New York Liberty, on June 6th at Gateway Center Arena.

A unique twist in the 2024 season sees a pause for the Olympic Games in Paris from July 26th to August 11th. Before the break, the Dream faces the Minnesota Lynx in Minneapolis on July 17th. Post-Olympics, they return for a 5-game home stand, commencing with a game against the Seattle Storm on August 16th.

Heading into their third year with the Dream, Head Coach Tanisha Wright and EVP and General Manager Daniel Padover share a common vision – bringing a WNBA Championship to Atlanta.

Coach Wright expresses eagerness for the upcoming season, highlighting the team’s strides from the previous year and the aspiration to bring playoff intensity to the regular season. Following the Dream’s 2023 postseason qualification, their first in five years, the young core, led by Rhyne Howard, aims to build on their success and contend for a championship.

The 2023 season marked a resurgence for the Dream, finishing fifth and returning to the playoffs for the first time since 2018. A historic moment occurred as the trio of Howard, Allisha Gray, and Cheyenne Parker represented the Dream at the All-Star game in Las Vegas, showcasing the team’s ascent under new ownership. The stage is set for an exciting and promising 2024 for the Atlanta Dream.
