ATLANTA . The Atlanta Dream will host their home games against the Indiana Fever on June 21 and August 26 at State Farm Arena. This move aims to accommodate more fans, leveraging the arena’s larger capacity to set attendance records.
The games will feature top WNBA talents, including the last three No. 1 overall draft picks: Rhyne Howard (Dream), Aliyah Boston, and Caitlin Clark (Fever).
“Atlanta Dream fans are the best in the WNBA,” said Dream President and COO Morgan Shaw Parker. “Their passion has led to the most sellouts in the league over the past two years. Moving to State Farm Arena allows more fans to experience these exciting games.”
The Dream and the Atlanta Hawks are collaborating to create a unique fan experience, aiming to host the largest crowd in Dream history. State Farm Arena, which seats over 17,000, offers the potential to surpass the current attendance record of 11,609 set in 2008.
Season ticket holders will have their seats transferred to comparable locations in State Farm Arena, while single-game ticket holders will receive refunds and exclusive presale access on May 21. General public tickets go on sale on May 22. More details are available at https://dream.wnba.com/statefarm-arena-indiana/.
“We want to create the ultimate home court advantage and pack the house with red and blue as we push towards another playoff run,” said Dream Head Coach Tanisha Wright.
Following a successful 2023 season, the Dream have already sold out 10 home games in 2024 and are poised for another strong year.
