ONE Musicfest (OMF), renowned for fostering community through music, introduces TwoGether Land in partnership with Live Nation Urban. Set against the backdrop of Dallas’s historic Fair Park, TwoGether Land emerges as a sister festival, embodying unity and togetherness through the power of music. Taking place on Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 25th, and Sunday, May 26th, 2024, this expansion is a significant milestone for the OMF family.
J Carter, founder of ONE Musicfest, emphasizes the festival’s core values, stating, “From day one, our motto has been unity through music. TwoGether Land is more than a festival; it’s a celebration of diversity, culture, and the unique spirit of the Southwest.”
Dallas, chosen for its rich history and cultural influence, becomes the canvas for TwoGether Land’s vibrant celebration. Mayor Eric Johnson expresses enthusiasm, envisioning the festival as a staple in Dallas’s cultural scene.
“OneGether Land presented by ONE Musicfest is a thrilling two-day festival that brings live performances, art, food, and fun to Fair Park. As the mayor of Dallas and a music enthusiast, I’m excited to see this event become a cultural mainstay,” says Mayor Eric Johnson.
What distinguishes ONE Musicfest is its commitment to embrace the local culture. TwoGether Land collaborates with Texas personalities, influencers, businesses, and creatives to authentically represent Southwest culture. J Carter emphasizes, “We want TwoGether Land to feel like it belongs to the Southwest, to Dallas. It’s not just an expansion; it’s an integration of the rich cultural tapestry that defines this region.”
Tailoring the festival to the local demographic, TwoGether Land focuses on R&B, Hip Hop, and Latin genres, aligning with the diverse musical preferences of the Dallas market.
Stacey Church, General Manager of Fair Park, anticipates the festival’s impact, stating, “With its mix of diverse music genres, this event will provide a music festival option that the Dallas market has been missing.”
With the lineup soon to be announced, Procter & Gamble, the presenting sponsor, along with key partners Toyota and Martell, supports the festival’s expansion. J Carter invites the Southwest region to join the celebration, emphasizing, “This is a call to the Southwest to join us, celebrate with us, and show the world the true essence of our music and culture. TwoGether Land is our collective voice, and all are welcome to be a part of this journey.”
