Dragon Con takes over downtown Atlanta this weekend. If you plan to revel with one of the largest pop culture celebrations in the country, here are a few restaurants and bars catering to the cosplay crowd.

Trader Vic’s. 255 Courtland Street.
Enjoy delicious Polynesian food and celebrate the 75th birthday of the Mai Tai at Atlanta’s Trader Vic’s, one of the original island-themed restaurants created by Vic “The Trader” Bergeron. Legend has it that Vic invented the Mai Tai!

Sear. 265 Peachtree Center Avenue
Located in the Marriott Marquis, Sear offers a locally sourced and fire inspired menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Specials include cornflake crusted French toast, Thompson Farms Pulled Pork sandwiches, and a Joyce Farms Grassfed steak.

White Oak Kitchen. 270 Peachtree Street
With a patio overlooking Peachtree Street, White Oak Kitchen will host a Dragon Con Patio Parade Party (9-11:30 am) followed by a Dragon Con Brunch Buffet (11:30 am – 4:00 pm) on August 31. Click herefor tickets.

New Realm Brewery. 550 Somerset Terrace
Visit New Realm Brewery on the famous Atlanta Beltline for burgers, small plates, and wood-fired pizza. Wear your favorite cosplay attire and get $1 off all New Realm brews. Try a Y’all Peachy or a Hazy Dragon.

Bar 210. 210 Peachtree Street
The lobby bar in the Westin Peachtree Plaza will be serving “Game of Thrones” drinks all weekend. Try a “Winter is Here” or “The Red Woman.”

Peachtree Center Food Court. 231 Peachtree Street
There is something for everyone in the Peachtree Center Food Court, and many of the restaurants have extended hours this weekend. Try Beni’s Cubano, Tin Lizzy’s, Aviva by Kameel or Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken.

Red Phone Booth. 17 Andrew Young International Boulevard
Enjoy craft cocktails and a curated cigar program in this 1920s speakeasy setting. The Red Phone Booth serves small plates at the bar or journey upstairs for some of Atlanta’s best Neopolitan cuisine at Amalfi Pizza.

Twenty-Two Storys. 265 Peachtree Street
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing Twenty-Two Storys, located inside The Hyatt Regency, will be serving Mission to the Moon Burgers with star-shaped tater tots. The gastropub will also feature Phantom Slushies and Voodoo Buckets made of fruit juice and rum.

Metro Café Diner. 229 Peachtree Street
Open 24 hours a day, the Metro Café serves everything from eggs benedict to steaks and fajitas in a classic neon diner setting. Visit after 8:00 pm to join in the Karaoke party.
