Georgia’s original craft brewery announced on Friday that it is going back to its roots and adopting the original name of the Atlanta Brewing Co after a stint as the Red Brick Brewing Co. To celebrate its 25th anniversary of serving up the best beers in the state of Georgia, the brewery will reclaim its original name while rolling out a host of new beer releases to commemorate the occasion.
It will be a month packed with fun and events for beer enthusiasts. It all kicks off at a rebranding party at the brewery on Friday, August 31st. The main event at this bash will be the release of the new Hartsfield IPA. Over the course of the anniversary month, Atlanta Brewing Co. is excited to release over a dozen collaboration brews with other local breweries. Daily events at the brewery and all throughout the state will culminate with the official 25th-anniversary party to be held on Saturday, September 29th, complete with live music, food trucks, and a much-anticipated release of a new double IPA. Throughout the month-long celebration, customers are invited to pick up an Atlanta Brewing Co passport book and collect stamps at each event with the chance to win prizes along the way.
With over 20 drafts in the taproom, the brewery continues to provide creative beer styles to its customers. Three of its most popular selections have already made the transition in the rebranding process. Homestand Pilsner, Soul of the City Pale Ale, and Hopanta are already available under the Atlanta Brewing Co name. With Friday’s launch party, Hartsfield IPA will join the mix. This innovative IPA will include a new rotating hop in every batch produced, giving consumers something different with each taste.
Atlanta Brewing Co was originally founded in 1993 and boasts claim to being one of the first major microbreweries in the nation. As the oldest brewery in the state, Atlanta Brewing Co is committed to providing quality and innovative beers to its loyal customers for years to come. The craft brewing industry has changed markedly over the last 25 years and the leaders at Atlanta Brewing Co are excited to take the company into the future and continue to explore new ways to produce the best beers in the business.
